DJO Incorporated is a leading global provider of high-quality, orthopedic devices, with a broad range of products used for rehabilitation, pain management and physical therapy. They are the largest non-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation device company in the United States and among the largest globally, as measured by revenues.
With a product launch just around the corner, DJO Global wanted to create a marketing campaign that got them noticed. DJO’s Director of Product Marketing turned to Elara Systems to work in tandem with DJO’s advertising agency for development of their digital assets for their product release.
With only three weeks until the product launch, Elara Systems set to work immediately to storyboard, shoot and edit a seven minute product video. With precision planning, Elara Systems developed a production pipeline for an on-site film shoot in San Diego, created high resolution 3D animation of their brace and kept the project on time and on budget.
Elara Systems used the latest state of the art HD cameras to shoot digital video. Because of the superb quality of the video, frame by frame stills were re-purposed for use in print media by DJO’s advertising agency. Due to the high quality of the video, stills from the footage were used in product brochures, micro sites, and other marketing collateral. This allowed DJO to avoid a separate photo shoot which saved DJO valuable time and money.
